As you know, we have two trips to the great outdoors scheduled for March! The first trip to the Tillamook Forest is coming up quickly, next Wednesday, March 14th. I currently have two volunteers confirmed to join us. Would you like to join us for one of our last big trips this school year? We will need at least two to three more adults to join us to make the trip a safe success.
I also have two confirmed volunteers for the next trip to the forest, which is on Wednesday, March 21st. Again, we will need at least two or three more adults to join us.
We will be leaving the school for both trips at 9:00 and returning to school by 2:15. You are welcome to join us on the bus, or you can meet us at the Tillamook Forest Center.
We hope to be able to make both trips. Thank you for all of your support this school year!
Please help your child to be prepared for chilly, and possibly wet weather for both of these trips. Comfortable walking shoes/boots that will stay dry, waterproof jackets that do not absorb the rain, warm layers, hoods/hats, and anything else that will allow your child to stay comfortable while exploring in the chilly woods will be necessary and greatly benefit the experience for everyone!
If you are interested in joining us the the Backyard Garden on our Thursday gardening Out and Abouts we always welcome you! With springtime coming, we are getting into the soil more and more and can't wait to see how much we can grow!
